Postcard from Paris to Host Book Signing Event for James Farmer on October 22
Gardening, recipes, entertaining all featured in new book

(Greenville, SC: September 27, 2011)  Landscape designer and author James Farmer will be at Linda McDougald Design | Postcard from Paris Home on Saturday, October 22 to promote and sign his new book, A Time to Plant: Southern-Style Garden Living. The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at 631 S. Main Street in downtown Greenville.

Included in the book are age-old tips for flower and vegetable gardening in the South along with sensational recipes and ideas for floral arrangements and centerpieces.

A regular contributor to Southern Living Magazine, Farmer’s mission is to share the “elegant garden life” and how to achieve it, whether you live in the country, suburbs or city.  Farmer focuses on how to use what you have (old recipes, family heirlooms, etc.) and what is locally available with which to cook and decorate your table.
