(Greenville, SC: May 25, 2011) Pam Childress has joined Postcard from Paris Home | Linda McDougald Design as business development and retail operations manager. Childress will cultivate and manage new business opportunities and oversee the day-to-day retail operations of the firm.

Holding a broker’s license in both North and South Carolina, Childress brings to the firm more than a decade of experience in the real estate market. Most recently, she spent five years with a local high-end builder of custom homes where she was involved in client relations, project management, and marketing. 

“Pam’s background in custom home building and real estate are huge assets to our firm and our clients,” says Linda McDougald, principal and lead designer. “She understands extremely well the current challenges and opportunities within that arena, making her a valuable resource and helping us anticipate and prepare for future opportunities. And, as a bonus, she has the skills and personality to help take our retail operations to the next level. We are thrilled to have her on our team.”

Childress is a member of the Greenville Home Builders’ Association and the US Green Building Council and is currently pursuing her LEED for Home AP certification. She holds a BS and MPA from Kansas State University.
